We are pleased to announce the release of our ITI Digital DXP Events Calendar Version 4.0!

Effective immediately, every feature and enhancement part of this release is available to all current subscribers.

The features are designed to deliver more available daily events to our destination partners, improve the site visitor experience and enhance SEO.

The release includes:

1. Delivering More Events: Additional Event Sources

Our software engineers added additional event sources such as ALLEvents, Bandsintown, Ticketmaster, and more. Subscribers to the Events calendar now have even more options to discover events in their geographical area. These new sources may include multiple ticket and information URLs, Venue/Organizer overall Google rating, and direct access to their Google Listing.

2. New Event Details Frontend User Interface + Upcoming Events.

The new UX includes multiple event ticket website URLs, Venue/Organizer rating, and a completely new section for Upcoming Events, which is designed to influence travelers to your destination - to stay longer and come back often.

What You Must Know - FAQ

1. Do I still receive content from Facebook & Eventbrite?

Yes! At this time, the new event sources will not replace your existing content delivery.

2. Can I still edit events from these new sources in my dashboard?
Yes! Your team continues to have total approval and editorial control over the new events.

3. Will I see duplicate events?
Our software has a duplicate removal algorithm that prevents most duplicates from entering the dashboard. However, you may see similar events that perhaps have different information depending on the platform they were posted. The choice of approval is yours.

4. Will I need to change anything on my website?
No. You do not need to re-implement or change the integration code on your website. All updates listed above will be automatically published.

5. My website uses the JSON data feed. Will I get these updates?
Suppose you have integrated the events data into your website or CRM using our JSON data feed. In that case, you can still access the additional data parameters that some event sources may include, such as multiple ticket URLs and venue rating. These parameters are already available in the JSON data string. This update does not affect your current integration structure; however, there are additional content options your web team may choose to utilize.

6. What are "Upcoming Events?"
Upcoming Events are Events relevant to the date the user is searching. E.g., If the site visitor selects and opens an event's details on March 1, 2022, the subsequent four available events from March will appear as a suggestion to the user.

7. Is the new interface also available on mobile screens?
Yes! The new UX is mobile-friendly. You will notice the mobile version is unique and specifically designed for smaller screens.

8. Will I see more events for my destination?
The answer is YES. With access to more Events data feeds and organizations in your community creating daily events to promote their businesses, you will have more events to promote your area.
