Introducing Our Most Powerful AI Assistant Yet


The AI Travel Planner is our AI-powered assistant designed to help users explore destinations, discover places and events, and get personalized travel recommendations. It integrates with our Places and Events modules to deliver client-specific content, including attractions, restaurants, events, and activities. This 24/7, multi-lingual travel assistant is added directly to your destination website, providing a trip planning experience that travelers expect: accurate and immediate. Users can type in any language of preference, and answers will switch automatically. No manual translation required.

With this release, the Travel Planner is now available in two versions, along with three packages:

  1. Plus & Enterprise AI Travel Planner

    • In the Plus and Enterprise packages, you will find an improved experience integrated with the client’s Places and/or Events modules and content you already approve.

    • The new release brings performance improvements, updated UI, and new features (favorites, folders, guest access), but the product itself is not new.

    • It continues to rely on the client’s Places/Events dataset.

  2. Essential AI Travel Planner

    • A completely new option for clients who do not use our Places or Events modules but want the benefit of a website-integrated AI chat solution.

    • Works independently while still offering the same improved UI, speed, accuracy, and conversation features.

    • Ideal for clients who only want a conversational assistant without the full widget ecosystem.

What’s New 

  • Faster response time and improved accuracy in answers

  • Updated UI with a cleaner, modern layout

  • Enhanced conversations — after each question is answered, the AI Travel Planner will continue to recommend follow-up questions, encouraging engagement and exploration

  • Login no longer required — all users can start a conversation without an account

  • Favorite Attractions — users can mark Places or Events from the responses as Favorites, saving them for later review

  • Folder Management (logged-in users only) — organize conversations by folder

  • Plan Trip by Dates — users have the possibility to select a fixed date range from the calendar and the Travel Planner will consider those dates when returning the answer. If the user doesn’t plan for a specific date, the “Flexible Dates” option is also available

  • Travel Preferences (client-defined) add— the clients can add customized preferences in the dashboard (eg, kid-friendly, budget-friendly, etc). The end users will see these preferences in the frontend and can select them so the AI Travel Planner gives customized answers based on the preference(s) selected.

  • In the management dashboard, customers can now also:

    • Upload a custom trigger icon for website branding. Any custom graphic mascot is accepted, and dimensions can be adjusted accordingly. Our default circle icon is still available if desired. 

    • Upload a direct Call-To-Action for the Destination Guide download/link.

    • Upload up to six prompt questions to help online visitors get their conversation started.

Step-by-Step User Guide – How to Plan a Trip Using the AI Travel Planner


1. Accessing AI Travel Planner

  1. Open the AI Travel Planner on the destination website. Customers can customize the trigger button by adding a custom-designed mascot and branding.

  2. Login is optional — all users can start chatting immediately.

  3. Logged-in users get access to folders/favorites.


2. Starting a Conversation

  1. Configure dates and preferences, if needed.

  2. Enter a question in the chat input or select one from the default prompt questions.

  3. AI Travel Planner responds faster and more accurately than before. 

  4. Continue adding questions, or use the 

  5. Use New Conversation to start a fresh chat.



 

3. Continue a Conversation

  1. Continue adding your questions to the conversation, or use the prompted follow-up questions provided.

  2. Adjust the dates and/or the preferences during the conversation.

  3. Use the Preview panel to preview data for the attractions provided in the response.

  4. Use the Show Map button to see where the attractions are located on the map.



4. Managing Conversations (Folders)

  1. Click New Trip to create a new folder.

  2. Move conversations into folders via menu → Move to Chat.

  3. Folders can also  edited or deleted, and conversations as well.



5. Adding Attractions to Favorites

  1. Open an attraction preview (click on it so the right side bar preview opens).

  2. Click the Favorite (red heart) icon.
  3. Access all favorites in the left sidebar
