The Featured Place, or Editor's Choice button is a quick way to highlight specific Places in the DXP Dashboard, and can even be renamed to fit your organization's needs. The Featured Place Category can be selected by website visitors in the Google Places Module, or embedded as a specific Category Module on your site. Featured Places can be identified in JSON data feed integrations as the 'Editor's Choice' field.
Selecting Featured Places:
Simply click on the 'Heart' icon button to add to 'Featured' and click again to remove the Place from the Featured Event list.
Renaming the Featured Event/Editor's Choice Category:
Navigate to Customization>Editor's Choice, and make sure that the field is not hidden. Then you may rename the field to your needs and click 'save.'
