How to create a new itinerary
Watch the video or follow the steps below.
Step-by-Step Tutorial
1. In the DXP Dashboard, go to Content Management>Itinerary Builder.
2. Input the title, description, and an image for the new itinerary. Before clicking CREATE.
3. To add points of interest to the newly created itinerary, go to Places and search for the points of interest that you want to include in the new itinerary. You can use the search bar or click through the Places by Categories.
4. To add a point of interest to the itinerary, click the car icon and select the itinerary from the list. Repeat this step until you have all the points of interest you wish.
5. To view the new itinerary, go to Content Management>Itinerary Builder>scroll down to Itinerary Management and locate the newly created itinerary. Click Edit to check if you want to change the order of points of interest. Something we always recommend is to try and create an as easy as possible route on the map, that would make sense while driving between the points. You can drag and drop the points of interest to change the order they appear.
6. Once everything looks good, click Publish on the top right corner of the itinerary. Your new itinerary is live on your website.
