If events are being pulled into the DXP Dashboard from an organizer, venue or business that you do not wish to promote, or you want to prevent a certain type of event from being pulled into the dashboard, this can be done with the Block Keywords tool.
1. Log in to your DXP account and navigate to Content Parameters>Block Parameters
2. In Block Keywords/Users or Domain, enter Type (keyword/user) and Keyword or Username to block. Click ADD to save. You will also be able to see all blocked Organizers - Events - Place in here, and unblock them if you wish.
Here are some examples of keywords that can be used:
- Name of an Event host or organizer (a person or group).
- Name of a Venue
- Name of a Location or Place
- Name of a Business
- Domain or website
- Type of event (networking, support, or council meetings for example).
- Domain URL
3. Blocked Keywords / Users or Domain will no longer appear on your dashboard.
4. Be sure to select:
Keyword: applies to the Name and Description of an event listing
Organizer: applies to the Host
